What was done
For a private house with an area of about 600 m2 Termal-Service performed the following set of works:
- calculation of heat losses and feasibility study of heat pumps
- design of the HVAC system
- Supply and installation of HVAC systems
- commissioning and adjustment works
The modern house has realized heating system on 2 different heat pumps that perfectly complement each other. The first one is a 16 kW Hitachi Hisanse multifunctional heat pump with a hydronic unit (works for hot water and underfloor heating), ducted indoor freon units (from VRF) working for heat and cold and a heat recuperator.
The second heat pump is a 16 kW Panasonic T-CAP low-temperature heat pump. It works perfectly without the help of additional heat sources to temperatures of -28°C and below. In this project, this heat pump supplies the heat transfer medium to the underfloor heating and the DHW.
A 500-liter buffer tank and a 500-liter boiler with a heat exchanger were also installed in the building’s heating station to ensure stable operation of the system, as the building has 8 bathrooms and an extensive heating system.
